Gerda has been one of my favourite artists since I was a kid. She’s always there and always listening. I think that’s why her drawing is so good. She’s so generous with her submissions I can hardly keep up. Awesome.

Why did I let him in?
It was not the flowers.
Well, he has a way with me - maybe his lopsided grin.
But I think it is really his persuasion. He is uncannily persuasive.
He had his collar up round his ears for the rain.
He wore Elton John glasses for disguise.
He assured me implicitly that he had not been followed.
The CIA man let him go alone.
He said he came to say sorry.
His low voice was huskier than usual, and I fully believed him.
But when I thought again what he has done to the Lewinsky name,
I turned him out.
